We are excited to officially open registration for CANCAST 2025 to vendors who attended last year first!
Once again, we will do our high energy one day format with plans to increase crowd presence even more throughout the show with a solid expansion plan which we will share more about in the near future.
Set up will be Saturday, with the show running on Sunday, March 30th at the Peterborough Memorial Centre and Morrow Building.

It is with great excitement that we get to announce that BUBBA will be the presenting sponsor of the 2024 CANCAST Fishing and Tackle Show at the Peterborough Memorial Centre and Morrow Building taking place on Sunday, March 30th

THE JOURNEY
After 8 years of the Bowmanville Tackle Swap and Fishing Show, event organizers Kyle and Leanne Carruthers decided to move the event to Peterborough to a bigger venue and to be in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes Region which is known demographically as one of the meccas of fishing in Ontario. With this move, they had a vision in mind to give the angling consumer an event like no other. After an amazing event in 2022 the Peterborough Fishing Show and the response and the demand for the event to grow the team quickly rebranded to build what will be known as CANCAST going forward. Canada’s largest Fishing and Tackle Show!
Using both the Memorial Center and the Morrow Building on the property as well as a large outdoor space connecting the two, we will have more square footage available than any other angling event in Canada. Multiple entrances, tickets sold ahead of time and higher capacity limits to get as many consumers in front of your brand or products as possible.

With over a decade of event organizing experience, Kyle and Leanne decided to elevate the Bowmanville Tackle Swap to the next level, giving birth to the Cancast Fishing Show in Peterborough Ontario. They have passionately infused their love for fishing into the show for the second consecutive year, and their unwavering dedication and exceptional leadership have played a pivotal role in creating an extraordinary experience for fishing enthusiasts. Their profound commitment to the fishing community shines through in every facet of this thrilling event.
